Howells Historical Society located on the corner of 2nd & Center with an annex on the corner of 5th & Center, the First Congregational Church building. The church building is one of the oldest buildings in Howells, built in 1887. It also was used as the first school in Howells.

The Historical Society is open weekly during the summer or by appointment by calling:

Come walk through the history of Howells, we are always adding new items; so while cleaning out that basement, attic or garage, if you see an old photo of Howells, or have a memorabilia you would like to share, give us a call.
